Good morning Peeps, it's time for our new challenge at Allsorts and this week Tracy Mouse would like us to see 'Wings on things'. Our sponsor is Tattered Lace.
My apologies for both a short post and being totally missing from both my craft room and blogland visits this past week but I'm not too well at the moment and may be missing for a bit. Luckily I usually work a few weeks in advance with DT projects so have cards prepared and scheduled to keep things ticking over.
For the one above I created a background with Pan Pastels, all of the stamps are Lavinia, stamped with archival black and especially for Tracy I added a little mouse climbing the grasses in the foreground along with some glitter here and there.
And a second card using Tattered Lace Blissful Branches which leaves the shape within the card allowing you to add colour beneath which is what I did here with Distress Crayons.
My teamies have come up with some super inspiration so I do hope you will pop over to the challenge blog to check out their creations.

This Lavinia stamp is already in my wishlist, and your card is really magical with these striking colours and the amazing scene!!
Hugs, have a nice weekend!
Happiness is mixing the magical-ness of fantasy with the magical-ness of nature - so beautiful are both of your cards, that I cannot decide which I best like. Brenda, they are lovely. The birds are quite busy here. The robins have arrived from their winter grounds and are enjoying the assortment of seeds and insects, not to mention the bird feeders! Apparently, I have lapsed into a "double" exacerbation. has that ever happened to you? Where you are "waiting out" the lapse of one event, and it just keeps on lingering without any improvement at all, and then suddenly ANOTHER relapse? That only happened one other time to me, about 20 years ago, but now, it has happened again. So I'm trying to go with the flow, and just take things as I can, with the gratitude that I'm still able to walk this time. Hoping you are finding some relief, my sweet, English friend!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed a lovely time this morning browsing your fur family, checking out your craft room, and reading your bio. Such a special lady you are!
