Stampendous P107

A funny title, but those who know me will probably have a smile as it's my all time favourite stamps that comes out time and again in classes and demos.

I hope you are all OK and a warm welcome to my new followers, this is going to be another short post as although my balance has improved if I sit or concentrate for too long the world still goes on the move so it's  everything in short bursts. As I said last week.......C'est la vie avec MS, but there are those far worse off and I am not complaining just frustrated when my wings are clipped.

My card is one I made a few weeks ago just for a bit of messy fun, the background is Dylusions fresh lime, cut grass and pure sunshine, overstamped with a Visible Image script and Stampendous P107 which I bleached out here and there to add highlight, a strip of old corrugated and some cord and Frantage round the edges. I don't have many Clarity stamps but really do like this inspirational quote and succumbed at Stamperama.

Have a lovely day Peeps.

  26. I hope there is a little alleviation in your frustration as the week continues.........
I love the effect of your whitened areas against the bold background plus the black. The green twine is a lovely touch with your loose bow echoing the loose shape of the petals on the flower-heads (to my eyes anyway).
    Take good care of yourself
    Much love

  47. Another gorgeous arty card. Love this look! Have never tried the bleaching but have it on my list of things to try!
Thanks for stopping by...I put the Mermaid post back on draft as it seems I somehow managed to delete the image!!! I only loaded 2 card photos onto this laptop...and then planned to write the posts up here at the lake. Somehow I wrote the post and deleted the card...oh well, will repost it once home again

We have had the wonderful joy of our eldest visiting us up here. She lives in the city her for half the year and Monaco the other half. It was such fun to have this relaxed time with her...she takes a few cards but mostly thank you cards for her as she uses large numbers of them for the nurses at her students placements. I try to keep 40 or 50 thank you cards stashed away...teehee Better to be prepared.

I am not as dedicated as you and often make really easy cards when they need large numbers like that...I don't even bother posting them, as they are fairly basic...just snippets of this and that!

hope you are feeling stronger each and every day.

    Crafty hugs

Re my card for Stamping Sensations... at the end of my post, under the materials list is a list of challenges, SS are linked there, the only one I've linked for that card actually, so it looks a bit lost and lonely! Easy to over look. Have a great Sunday, hope you hubby is enjoying Father's Day.
