Good Morning Peeps. Still no sign of the sun here is the Fens, but this morning it's really misty so I am hoping that might clear away into a nice day, we can but hope.
You seemed to like my inkyness yesterday and thank you so much for your very kind comment, so thought I would share another, this time a moonlight scene across the lake. As usual a mixture of stamps from Art Impressions, Stampscapes and the little boat is from a Stamp Addicts sheet which we used a few months back for one of the Create and Craft TV shows. I tried to create some reflection in the water by sponging and reverse stamping.
I used the trusty Speedball brayer onto gloss cardstock and Adirondack inks cloud blue, denim and black. I usually leave these type of cards fairly simple, but I decided to add a little lace and ribbon to this one to give a softer feel.
I am entering this into this months Create a Scene challenge who want to see 'Moonlight'
Have a good Thursday everyone.

Stunning !!! It is so foggy here hubby had to turn back at the top of the road and my neighbour had an accident around the same time in the traffic behind him! What a morning.
ReplyDeleteThe Broderie ribbon is a beautiful embellishment for this & I love the seambinding with the the way that canvassy textured flower picks up the blue & yellow of the broderie ribbon. Thereverse stamping is a dream & I love the soft misty haze across the moon. We can barely see across the Brecon valley these mornings but by lunch the sun has cleared it.
ReplyDeleteTake care

Hi Brenda, this is absolutely gorgeous, I love the sky and background and the way that you have done the water is amazing, you really are brilliant with a brayer, you inspire me to want to pull out my brayer and have ago ( it's one of those things that I never seem to get around to). Yes it was Lisa Jane I met up with yesterday and she is so lovely, she was telling us about meeting you and what a lovely lady you are, and it was a really great day. I hope that the sunshine has made it's way to you now.
