There's so much on this USB and if you love flowers and vibrancy as much I do, then an absolute delight.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I've not really been able to manage any new DT makes for weeks, however bored to tears (aka utterly frustrated) I decided to try and diversify. DT's are required to use Premium Pure Print card (which they supply I might add), its an amazing product and you have to compare print colour against that on a normal card to appreciate the difference</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">So I always keep part sheets with no printing and scale images in MCS to fit the left over pieces (see below) print and send to the Scan and Cut which cuts them out ready to go. Surprisingly it's then relatively easy with 1.5 hands to design the base cards in Canvas Workspace right down to apertures, again using left over half sheets and let the S&C do most of the work. I was able to arrange the elements and came up with a few presentable cards. I am hoping my part sheets will count as snippets and will pop the above card over to the the <a href="https://pixiessnippetsplayground.blogspot.com/">Snippets Playground</a> (the word was also cut from oddments of Bazzil)</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-CWnApTe5uo81oFWVg5OvsOPjXdeC1Qc3DhVwEXtfvvBcbcidx7WfOqpTioaDPx0Mfyac-QLkImpTbpZWEvB_2UWUHhyg8ukogzmRzGTCMS0FjXg5tIUfZpydzEQCWkEClDQbWjFI54JppghvSVbks4zK49e_Ce7Y0_6eHKGyiXnucAvm4KN2Bp1Y-s5E/s3520/IMG_0744.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3520" data-original-width="2685" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-CWnApTe5uo81oFWVg5OvsOPjXdeC1Qc3DhVwEXtfvvBcbcidx7WfOqpTioaDPx0Mfyac-QLkImpTbpZWEvB_2UWUHhyg8ukogzmRzGTCMS0FjXg5tIUfZpydzEQCWkEClDQbWjFI54JppghvSVbks4zK49e_Ce7Y0_6eHKGyiXnucAvm4KN2Bp1Y-s5E/w488-h640/IMG_0744.JPG" width="488" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">And my homework complete....</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiA_FA-ca27x60gqjh7N5IpVtKDD5Zk3XBq_geUHKkzJVbtF-VHZaxXuB6nhm1MOLilU_3a4h4VXdYkRBHCInNbu-GlVlGV106gFK5BWTE5xOWOqQ6lhxCkSOm8RJAmCmtow9iMjnf9YLo5Sm-wfYChGvTfZZ-3ZLbV3LjaWYE1Fvgp5wUuAI2Nlrm6ca1g/s3999/IMG_0760.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3888" data-original-width="3999" height="311" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiA_FA-ca27x60gqjh7N5IpVtKDD5Zk3XBq_geUHKkzJVbtF-VHZaxXuB6nhm1MOLilU_3a4h4VXdYkRBHCInNbu-GlVlGV106gFK5BWTE5xOWOqQ6lhxCkSOm8RJAmCmtow9iMjnf9YLo5Sm-wfYChGvTfZZ-3ZLbV3LjaWYE1Fvgp5wUuAI2Nlrm6ca1g/s320/IMG_0760.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Have a good week everyone.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFEdguH9IjnRCaI7r39T7IOeN6-m_9EuSqGRG9ZGzSnoZH2q1c4niRjjTtkUcCsEHVdD9JL6J18WpsW5aQGEnlsdbTG4mnpZ-v9DMXXjDkVBNYVGHVJQUOFOdTvCidZSgSOWprwTvn-AFJjtD8QlpVWQA5S9lEUOfvj4cXCG_U7WDLPEKzc0_0kp79mpXA/s550/B%20x.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="275" data-original-width="550" height="100" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFEdguH9IjnRCaI7r39T7IOeN6-m_9EuSqGRG9ZGzSnoZH2q1c4niRjjTtkUcCsEHVdD9JL6J18WpsW5aQGEnlsdbTG4mnpZ-v9DMXXjDkVBNYVGHVJQUOFOdTvCidZSgSOWprwTvn-AFJjtD8QlpVWQA5S9lEUOfvj4cXCG_U7WDLPEKzc0_0kp79mpXA/w200-h100/B%20x.png" width="200" /></a></div>brendahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08768329329811996308noreply@blogger.com18tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6648324448256287077.post-8459856246894264222024-03-16T08:00:00.199+00:002024-03-16T08:05:36.320+00:00Fur, Feathers and a Butterfly<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCze1Q8LkU_-sQD-41ij3mJu0EAtm-9gnEg5PuJFAAmi9INR177Jun7yy75QiJYE0KG096_-5doFwOFhczjJISZwwqbqnL4l5SjhRL2bsuB2bypC1pD_ArTc2k6quQpRRjGZOs4-1h1d9VxmUv1iDqV4PGPG69ImulZ5pfogBVv8Q8_00zYGuQSng6c1Dv/s3444/Allsorts%20772%20copy.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3444" data-original-width="3418" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCze1Q8LkU_-sQD-41ij3mJu0EAtm-9gnEg5PuJFAAmi9INR177Jun7yy75QiJYE0KG096_-5doFwOFhczjJISZwwqbqnL4l5SjhRL2bsuB2bypC1pD_ArTc2k6quQpRRjGZOs4-1h1d9VxmUv1iDqV4PGPG69ImulZ5pfogBVv8Q8_00zYGuQSng6c1Dv/w636-h640/Allsorts%20772%20copy.JPG" width="636" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Morning Peeps, our new challenge at <a href="https://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/" style="text-align: center;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Allsorts</span></a> starts today with the theme of Fur and/or Feathers as selected by Ellie. Card base made with Tattered Lace dies and for the background crackle texture paste and a leaf stencil. A gently shaded oxide background in what to me are Spring colours, the branch stamped and masked to add further branches and blossoms added. In hindsight the sentiment was probably a step to far making it incredibly busy, but it's my first stamped card for weeks, took ages and the stamp platform did most of the work, but satisfying to actually get one finished.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOCD8B4LEDeTXWGPxhDJ3yngBnwpV5NxA5zBt-IchFfsK7fYZ0tjq9lTfrFkOHof4I2QogalbaPVvl1yM9Ga5m-lYE_vaim5KPyTuIF9M4A1di8BGbbjhtJZauVkPiMVxOZYaRGZVKSa9yPTUqHnfX6m1BXWLz6I-GX1KkOrnQ6xkcr2CWIWzU_SLSt4ch/s4101/CCC%20February.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3336" data-original-width="4101" height="520" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOCD8B4LEDeTXWGPxhDJ3yngBnwpV5NxA5zBt-IchFfsK7fYZ0tjq9lTfrFkOHof4I2QogalbaPVvl1yM9Ga5m-lYE_vaim5KPyTuIF9M4A1di8BGbbjhtJZauVkPiMVxOZYaRGZVKSa9yPTUqHnfX6m1BXWLz6I-GX1KkOrnQ6xkcr2CWIWzU_SLSt4ch/w640-h520/CCC%20February.JPG" width="640" /></a></div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">And here is the card I sent to Tina in Slovenia for this month <a href="https://cardchainchallenge.blogspot.com/">Card Chain Challenge</a>, Lavinia all the way. The sentiment from my <a href="https://www.stampaddicts.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=72&product_id=1236">Moments</a> stamp set seemed appropriate.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEis3zmhSzy8TzfeR7CyMRXo7pD-EAPgzE293nNovWH9XYKpmBNt4vXEu10qV6Za9ZJa3CXJHSUeYCarn_NPQssVADOpTn9Z_RegSJYEL_Rc9AxV5j9ENNNDterH35H_89cQ7MrRLMTMJbbcRNhxW26qEuIOhuzWb6eNaNwcWBadLaF2fPl2lG2rQuTE8EbY/s3367/IMG_0622.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3367" data-original-width="3344" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEis3zmhSzy8TzfeR7CyMRXo7pD-EAPgzE293nNovWH9XYKpmBNt4vXEu10qV6Za9ZJa3CXJHSUeYCarn_NPQssVADOpTn9Z_RegSJYEL_Rc9AxV5j9ENNNDterH35H_89cQ7MrRLMTMJbbcRNhxW26qEuIOhuzWb6eNaNwcWBadLaF2fPl2lG2rQuTE8EbY/w636-h640/IMG_0622.JPG" width="636" /></a></div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;">As it's a special occasion at the <a href="https://butterflyspotchallenge.blogspot.com/">Butterfly Challenge</a>, ten years old this month, I really wanted to join in. I was hopeful that I could find something suitable in my folders but alas nothing, so had a go to see what I could do with one working hand and one that can just nudge without the pain kicking in again, so two days and a good few expletives later this is what I ended up with.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The format of the challenge has changed and each challenge now follows the alphabet, this time it's 'B'. So hope I've got the idea right by picking out several elements to combine, baby blue, bud green, burnt orange, Birthday wishes, border (stitch stamp) a stamped 'B' and of course the Butterfly. Will confess it was a bit of a cheats card as most things were already prepared, I have a bag of Flowers cut ages ago on the Scan and Cut (after stamping onto inky card) for paper piecing, background from my drawer of ready made ones, Butterfly A&C Ephemera with some colour added and basically all fixed together plus a computer generated sentiment and the 'B' stamped to finish.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEga6aJIhBsp2RDA7A8SRJCoWnJzwVwYC1b9_cdBgt9AV6mbTXD3EUe1eMBwHbbSWnDkpdeYJ0jnfzrkvY-Cf2LCfwBNVoL69uF8A3wM5_U1yPvyIpInBZELdhpcRiUMXBSheDlC6y-sQNMFo8Ty62hyphenhyphenpF2-kSv-zLearSiZo6fXnBHohzmFX3sg8GWbAluz/s550/B%20x.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="275" data-original-width="550" height="100" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEga6aJIhBsp2RDA7A8SRJCoWnJzwVwYC1b9_cdBgt9AV6mbTXD3EUe1eMBwHbbSWnDkpdeYJ0jnfzrkvY-Cf2LCfwBNVoL69uF8A3wM5_U1yPvyIpInBZELdhpcRiUMXBSheDlC6y-sQNMFo8Ty62hyphenhyphenpF2-kSv-zLearSiZo6fXnBHohzmFX3sg8GWbAluz/w200-h100/B%20x.png" width="200" /></a></div></div>brendahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08768329329811996308noreply@blogger.com25tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6648324448256287077.post-86474969832159141482024-02-10T08:00:00.094+00:002024-02-10T08:00:00.137+00:00Memories<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi29iV3-qS9K4NaqW6wRsYb7TebVmK5gPvk6qw6u7oglq2lmM0d7ooVYUqvJo3GsStUKzEXKYUyN2i1VE68UmFUnKOfGsJelT_n9CFsUpIQ72cbwtfWP-bj76FX6J9PSofu1E2qccTWfcoGkfC_Vs-YNRi4dKfmSGB-Tco_7hn_s_Wq9NUDhta3x7R_QhnL/s3340/Allsorts%20767.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3340" data-original-width="3085" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi29iV3-qS9K4NaqW6wRsYb7TebVmK5gPvk6qw6u7oglq2lmM0d7ooVYUqvJo3GsStUKzEXKYUyN2i1VE68UmFUnKOfGsJelT_n9CFsUpIQ72cbwtfWP-bj76FX6J9PSofu1E2qccTWfcoGkfC_Vs-YNRi4dKfmSGB-Tco_7hn_s_Wq9NUDhta3x7R_QhnL/w592-h640/Allsorts%20767.JPG" width="592" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Morning everyone, another Saturday and a new challenge at <a href="https://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/" style="text-align: center;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Allsorts</span></a><span> where Mervi would like to see Hearts and of course there's always the A/G option. </span><span>Prizes come from <a href="https://www.aallandcreate.com/boutique?ref=HDC-c00E4T4_tj">AALL and Create</a> and <a href="https://www.laviniastamps.com/">Lavinia</a> and will go into the draws on 23rd February.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span>I've used a stamp from the same set as my last post <a href="https://www.aallandcreate.com/boutique?ref=HDC-c00E4T4_tj">AALL and Create</a> Forget me Not (896) along with the little birdie and nib from Quill Ends (908). I do like the size of <a href="https://www.aallandcreate.com/boutique?ref=HDC-c00E4T4_tj">AALL and Create's</a> border stamps, however, this particular one is part of an A4 stamp set called Thorough the Meadow and currently on offer well below half price at £11.60 (normal price £28.99) as are most of their A4 sets, a lot of stamping for your money! But you'll need to be quick as normal prices are creeping back in.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">A stencilled background using A&C Evergreen, the word Butterfly from the same stamp set as the focal element and letters from Garden She Wrote and Grunge Alphabet. Here I applied the paste to a piece of white 640gsm Fabriano, I know it sound heavy but it takes everything you throw at it without warping. So I decided to go with a couple of favourite Oxides which I frequently combine, Cracked Pistachio and Wilted Violet.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">My starting point was the new Tag it Yourself dies from <a href="https://www.aallandcreate.com/boutique?ref=HDC-c00E4T4_tj">AALL and Create</a> which I am still loving, both the distressed design and size which is larger than many tag dies. After splodging ink and water from acetate I stamped the images which come from Flower Trio (924), Anemone (980) and Forget Me Not (896). The little circles with flowers are one of the stamps on Anemone, stamped and masked to allow the larger flowers to be behind. Words from my favourite sentiment set Power of the Word (756), paper pieced flowers stamped on inky offcuts as are the sentiments so popping over to the <a href="https://pixiessnippetsplayground.blogspot.com/">Snippets Playground</a> with this one (no snippet photo I'm afraid - not that organised!).</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">We are really looking forward to seeing your creations this month so hope you can find time amidst all the pre Christmas activities to join in.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0Zt36Pf2MNLdlrGe7Gfnyz6bKmO-Tzw2DTyRthyphenhyphenacpALJ_plicUTHYUqX9VmJ1xWDN3_ZYuFkBiBla9_MynzsIkXPOlE4jouxXW8TiAk3AWi6YYPu6ZAGur2G3veW-m7m8cVDffQtyujnEv33NE0TzU_-9x-TlHt24tfkm9nYUtF7Oh8M333hZBxyGup7/s550/B%20x.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="275" data-original-width="550" height="100" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0Zt36Pf2MNLdlrGe7Gfnyz6bKmO-Tzw2DTyRthyphenhyphenacpALJ_plicUTHYUqX9VmJ1xWDN3_ZYuFkBiBla9_MynzsIkXPOlE4jouxXW8TiAk3AWi6YYPu6ZAGur2G3veW-m7m8cVDffQtyujnEv33NE0TzU_-9x-TlHt24tfkm9nYUtF7Oh8M333hZBxyGup7/w200-h100/B%20x.png" width="200" /></a></div>brendahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08768329329811996308noreply@blogger.com33tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6648324448256287077.post-37751086331668923902023-12-02T08:00:00.249+00:002024-01-18T08:37:37.590+00:00More Crunched Leafdrops and Fairies<div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEha3_TFCk09ztb___Po15TfLuaP-m8ag2n2NiONRskU2RC-7C1lVIAXY3ODwAdnLnrnnkD2sFLiXqZxyaJUYecnzX-0N5pw44cMTnd6JTRpuqrpLbM9ha0oSmgl02BhcOjO104RBVOt0kT76Na6Y8h4GO7beIINEf3bIAWxoZWKPnp29nMNU99LyH3w3ZLa/s4653/Allsorts%20757.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3269" data-original-width="4653" height="450" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEha3_TFCk09ztb___Po15TfLuaP-m8ag2n2NiONRskU2RC-7C1lVIAXY3ODwAdnLnrnnkD2sFLiXqZxyaJUYecnzX-0N5pw44cMTnd6JTRpuqrpLbM9ha0oSmgl02BhcOjO104RBVOt0kT76Na6Y8h4GO7beIINEf3bIAWxoZWKPnp29nMNU99LyH3w3ZLa/w640-h450/Allsorts%20757.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Morning everyone, Saturday again and at <a href="https://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/" style="text-align: center;"><span style="vertical-align: inherit;">Allsorts</span></a> Liz has chosen the theme of 'Stitching, real or faux', along with the usual A/G option. This weeks prizes again come from<span style="text-align: center;"> </span> <a href="https://www.aallandcreate.com/boutique?ref=HDC-c00E4T4_tj">AALL and Create</a>.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The two arch shapes were leftovers from cutting a frame so being frugal (unusual for me) I decided to see if I could stitch round them to make a card for today's theme. After lending my machine to eldest Granddaughter it seems I now only have one stitch option which is this zigzag, need time to sit and play with the settings.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Some oxide ink splodged from acetate, the smaller Pinecone from <a href=" many thanks for sharing with us at Allsorts challenge. The Pinecone and Birdies were stamped again and decoupaged, then more of the gorgeous Crunched Leafdrops (1109) stamped onto inky offcuts and cut out with the coordinating die Leafinitely Detailed (25). Making a last minute dash to <a href="https://pathofpositivitychallenge.blogspot.com/">Path of Positivity</a> with this one where they are asking for texture.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">These leaves are so realistic and look just like the golden carpets around our orchard and gardens at the moment.
