Poinsettias and sparkles

It's time for our new challenges at  Stamping Sensations and  Penny Black and More where our themes are 'Winter Sparkle' and 'Traditional Christmas Colours' and as always there are wonderful prizes to be won at both.

I'm rather poorly and unable to string together a meaningful sentence without help so a big thank you to Tracy for being such a good friend keeping in touch with hubby and stepping back into craft land sorting things for me despite the difficult times she and her family are going thorough.

Just popping in to say hello, Brenda! And to tell you your wreath is absolutely gorgeous! It's a real eye-catcher! Gorgeous cards too! I am sad to read that you are not doing well lately - I hope things will improve and that you'll have some good days now and then. I haven't been here for a while but I'm back to crafting now. My husband had a stroke in August but he came home from the rehab hospital in early November. He's doing okay and we're praying for a full recovery - it's just going to take time. Wishing you all the best, my friend.

Hi, Brenda! Sigh - I don't like hearing about your setback, and am hoping for a recovery once this exacerbation of symptoms recedes. Sending many positive thoughts and prayers in your direction. How kind of Tracy to help out. While she is having difficulties of her own... I have learned this... people with the most problems or challenges, are often those with the greatest empathy, willing to help and extend a hand of friendship. I hope things improve for her family as well.

Your creations are fabulous! Beautiful fussy cut poinsettias, and the goose scene is endearing, as they look upon the light. The sentiment in your last masterpiece is in my stash as well. I especially LOVE the delicate holly flourishes with the delicate font. love, de

Big hugs to you my friend. Rest and get well...
(No stress required this afternoon either! Send them all out of the house and turn off the radio etc.)
We are all pulling together and will cope so please don't worry about anything. Nothing is as important that won't wait - we need to have you back well. xx
