Back to the 60's ?

Morning Peeps, this weeks Allsorts theme is hosted by Kath is 'Be there or be Square'. Our sponsor this week is Tattered Lace.

As always my thanks for all your kind messages and mails about my health, I can report that I am going into hospital this coming week where they hope to resolve the blockage which they feel confident is the culprit for my failing kidney function. Once that's done I need to wait two weeks to have another CT scan done, I have a feeling that two weeks is going to seem like an age but not a lot I can do about that.........the consultant told me that even if I was a private patient it would still be the same process! And they tell me that once they can get my kidneys functioning more efficiently I will start to feel a lot better, oh I do hope so!!

Now onto this weeks challenge and those of us bold enough to admit we were a 'child of the 60's' will know just what the tile of Kath's theme means.

This is not a new make, it's a sample I did for Create and Craft before I decided to leave the Rare Earth (TL) DT, the floral stamp is actually a border stamp but I used to to create a square by masking the central area and stamping around, then removed the square mask, used a black pen to draw in the lines and then coloured the flowers with sparkle pens, did a bit of inking and matted onto a black base card. Finally a TL die cut quote in the centre.

Happy weekend all.

Hi Brenda, fingers crossed for your kidneys functions!!! I wish you all the best for the next weeks!!
LOVE the idea of masking that beautiful border stamp to create the square inside, it looks really amazing with the black lines! Sweet colors, so spring like! Pinned! https://it.pinterest.com/pin/534802524496370776/
I'm not too accurate with masking, I still have to learn how to do it better, but your make inspire me (as always) :)
Grandi abbracci!

A really brilliant creation and a fabulous design, not sure about the dancing bit but the singing bit always make me laugh because a few places that I have worked, even though they have always been offices, often some have had radio's on and I have never failed not to sing to most songs, you have never heard office doors shut so quickly once I started singing. I used to be in the Church choir but more often than not I was told to mime. My Mother used to say " I was a good singer, before tunes came out"
Didn't know you were off to hospital next week, wishing you all the best and hope that all goes very well.
