Winners and a Vanilla Butterfly

Morning all, I hope all is good with you.

I have not been able to craft for some weeks now due to my wonky body and especially a left arm that won't work properly and gives me constant pain, especially typing and gripping. But I was determined to have a go this week and see what I could achieve. It's a pretty simple card with little stamping, just the sentiment with a blurry edge and a stamped butterfly which took three attempts, both are Inkylicious. The background is Brushos and stenciling and I am far from happy with the end result but I guess it's a starting point.

It is for the current Butterfly Challenge which is V for vanilla and/or vase with the Butterfly. I found vanilla a very difficult colour to depict but have tried to tone down the colours to something close to vanilla and the bow hopefully is about the right shade.

I also have the winners of my candy and I am so pleased it's a pretty international draw, from the USA to Spain and back to the UK:

The Baby Blue goes to.................................

And sets of dies will go going to......................

Well done to you all, please mail me with your full names and postal addy's so I can send your goodies.

I am slowly getting round your blogs again, albeit with short comments and thank all of your for your continued support whilst I was MIA for some weeks.

  58. Oh my goodness Brenda if this is your worst I wish I was so damn artistic and creative. What you see as errors I see as wonderful, creative, and artistic touches. Your use of colour, stamp and stencil is blooming brilliant and I love this card especially as it's in pastel as I don't often do pastel as I find it difficult not to add more and more colour lol! I am catching up a little and whatever happens do not come visit me, take care of you sweetie, hopefully your body will give you some respite soon Karen x
