Tattered Lace winners , Rudolph Snippet and the Long Weekender

Morning Peeps, it's time to announce the winners of the Tattered Lace candy and also share a few samples made for the Tattered Lace Long Weekender starting on Create and Craft at 8am on Friday.............and a note added as I nearly forgot, well I actually did forget until I got a congniziance moment during the night................that I had made a card especially for Rudolph Day and the Snippets Playground.

On a different note I am guessing I am not the only one who has seen disappearing followers the last month due to Bloggers shenanigans ? Overnight I've seen another 27 go and it really does make me wonder at the wisdom of it all, I'm convinced he won't be happy until we are all paying for the privilege of having a blog.

Part of the long weekender are some beautiful A5 sized panel dies and although I have made a good number of cards using them as intended, I was itching to use the Rose Garden panel as a stencil. So I cut it out using 250gsm card, laid it over a chipboard heart prepped with Gesso and decoupatch papers and spritzed Bubblegum Pink Dylusions and am thrilled with the lovely pattern. I then decorated with ribbons, lace, flowers and feathers.

This one has the Foliage panel die simply cut from pearl cardstck and placed over a contract colour, a mat using the TL decorative labels , ribbon and TL daisies and sentiment. They made such elgant but also quick cards.

The Rose Grden panel die again this time using the new TL Shades Ombre cardstock, a frame using the new Pearl Pin Dot square dies, Pearl Dot border and Birthday sentiment from the Charisma Stores range.

Now for those winner.............................

The first name out of the draw was Lau who will receive the Tattered Lace Panorama dies

And the second name out is Lorraine B who will receive the dies and Ombre cardstock

Well done to you both, please mail me so I can get your goodies in the post to you.

And one final card....................

More Ombre cardstock, the foliage panel used with the hexagonal die set, a rose, pearls and the little leaves are the spines from the waste after cutting the panel.

And here is that almost forgotten card for Rudolph Day and Snippets Playground, honestly I really did have a post it note on my computer to remind me I had a card all ready and then forgot, or can it be that my computer is a magnet for numerous post it notes that it just got lost in the mire that's also known as my desk.

So here it is, nothing spectacular but I feel quite chuffed that it's still not the end of January and I have a Christmas card made, that has to be a record for me. Snippets of beloved G45 paper, can't throw any of that away, a Penny Black sentiment and a TL oval Pearl Dot frame.

Thanks for taking a peek and hope you all have a good Wednesday.

Wonderful cards Brenda! As always, so inspiring - your RD/Snippets one is a great combination of colours and patterns!

Ha! I just checked and have lost six followers. What's even more confusing is that I've visited a few of my favourite blogs (which are still very much active) the past two days and noticed that I've been removed as a follower - by Blogger! I use a Google account so am flummoxed. All I can do is to keep adding myself back in as a follower whenever I visit a blog and spot that am missing :( Sigh, really so frustrating :(

See, it had happened here too! So that explains one disappearance B - what gets me is just WHY though when I'm using a Google account :(

Hello Brenda
Another beautiful collection of cards to showcase another stunning collecyion of Tattered Lace dies.
Congratulations to the lucky winners of your blog candy.
You have also sparked my curiosity - why are blog followers disappearing I wonder. Mr Blogger is a very temperamental animal and nothing surprises me with it. I often think that there must be a better way of sharing our creative makes which isn't so temperamental.
Take care

These are all so beautiful and elegant! I love the heart and all the dies used. I have seen a drop in followers too. I'm not liking this at all. I hope it's ending soon. It makes me so sad. Please update us on your health. You continue to be in my prayers and I hope you are doing better...your crafts never seem to suffer though as they are always stunning. Hugs, Robin

Beautiful cards, Brenda! All so beautiful! You are a whiz with the dies! Yes, I lost another 7 followers overnight! Oh well! I think if they are regular readers, they will come back and rejoin! If not, they won't know what they are missing haha! It will be interesting to see what happens! I just noticed... you have a LOT of followers - wowzers!

Wonderful creations as always Brenda and such fabulous inspiration for us. Love the gorgous heart and brilliant design of the Rudolph / snippets card.

I found Blogger was removing me as a follower from some blogs (how or why I cannot work out) so I do try and keep a check on my reading list and re-follow.

Oh I nearly forgot.... Congratulations to your lucky winners xx

Lovely cards and congrats to the lucky winners. Regarding followers, my small flock seems to be contracting and expanding moment to moment. I don't see it as something to get sad about. It's nice not to be talking to yourself but I am not blogging just for my followers. I am grateful blogger is free and glad someone set this up for me, cos I wouldn't have a clue. People may also be following on other medias so don't be sad. Give thanks for small miracles that happen every day and thank you so much for sharing. Hugz

So many beautiful creations! Something I really love about this Christmas card is how festive it looks using papers that wouldn't need to be specifically used for Christmas.

Brenda, all your cards are beautiful (like they always are) but the one that really stole my heart was the heart one, - just amazing!!

As far as blogger is concerned, well, since I read about the announcement, I have been keeping track, first I lost about 30 over night, then over the next 2 weeks, I gained about 14, then two nights ago, bang, I lost 16 and last night I went down by another 84!! I have now less followers than I had a year ago I think.... grrrr

I have lost well over a hundred followers, seeing this makes me feel even worse, just don't understand what they are up to....

I have no more words! The heart is wonderful and I envy who ever gets to keep that one. Then before we get to the Rudolph Day make, which I love BTW, three more beautiful creations, lovely use of colour and they look so elegant and lush at the same time. Now I've doubled my die wish list already but the one that's got to go to the top is those pennants. The past year I have become more aware of an odd obsession of mine and that's balloons and banners/pennants/flags! I want a die that cuts those for me. Gorgeous inspiration for us all Karen xx
