Golden Days and winners names

Good morning to you all, it's time for our new challenge at Allsorts where this week Helene has chosen the theme of Golden Days. Our sponsor is A Day for Daisies.

I decided on an inky one for this week using Dylusions for the background, cutting the corner with a new Timmy die, there are four of them in the set and will all cut out a section leaving the piece still intact..........I have been a really good girl this year and this is the very first I have purchased since joining Tattered Lace as there are only so may dies you can use, but it was a must have.

The stamps are all Chocolate Baroque, stamped with Versafine and heat embossed with detail gold powder. I bleached the colour from the flowers which are from CB Pretty Poppies set and then pained with the same colour Dylusions. The sentiment is from CB Words of Inspiration cut down into three and Pebo gilding wax rubbed round the edges of the panels and the card itself...............I have tried so many brands and this one really does stand out from the crowd, not the cheapest but worth the extra.

The finished piece is mounted onto gold card and a bow, button and cord across the corner.

Now for the winners of my candy:

Well done all of you, please mail me with your full names and postal addy's so I can get your goodies in the post.

Happy weekend all.

  4. The first thing I noticed when I saw you card, was the trellis die cut peeking out and I was thinking 'how clever'. After reading how you did it, I totally understand why you needed this new die. I'm afraid I haven been a good girl, since I went on an online shopping spree during the Black Friday sales in the US. On the other hand, I've been holding back all summer. Besides, we don't exchange gifts at Christmas, so I might just as well get my own gifts lol. Sorry for not visiting more often, but time seems to slipping by all the time. As for your question about robins, the do visit Crete in the winter.
    Have a wonderful weekend!
