Banners at Allsorts

Good morning, it's a scheduled post here, but it should be Saturday when it pops up which means time for a new challenge at Allsorts and this week Susan would like to see Banner or Flags on our work. Our sponsor is Nicecrane Designs.

My card at the top uses the new Wizard of Oz designs from Nicecrane which you will find here. I used the pre colured sheet and used three of the images, Dorothy in the middle in her lovely flowing dress and the Tin Woodman either side of my center stepper card which is of course Tattered Lace. The sentiment across the bottom is computer generated and I added some ribbons, a button and some banners cut from a Penny Black die. I think these new images are absolutely perfect for children's cards and even those of us a little older !

My second card is fairly simple one with an embossed sentiment using Tattered Lace Butterfly Interchangeable folder, the folders have three different sentiments which fit into the folder itself, on this occasion I embossed the base panel without any sentiment, then embossed a second small piece of the same card with the sentiment to use as the focal element. The banner is cut from G45 DP, some roses lightly inked with DI and ivy cut from TL Large Ivy.

And here is my mid month Penny Black and More share, still plenty of time to join in our 'Anything Goes With A Sentiment' theme to be in with a chance of winning one of the great prizes on offer. An inked, glittered and stenciled background and a Penny Black focal sentiment.

Hope your weekend is a good one.

Good morning Brenda
Three stunning cards today. I love the Wizard of Oz images - I know some grown ups who would love to receive this card. I bought the Tattered Lace stepper card die and I can't believe how simple it makes making a kinetic card. I have struggled for ages to make stepper cards and thrown away goodness how much card stock so this die is brilliant. And all the matting and layering dies are a bonus.
I like the background you have made for your Penny Black card - it is so pretty.
Enjoy your weekend. I am going to lock myself in my craft room and do some serious crafting.
Take care
Lesley

Wow your posts are always jam-packed with gorgeous cards Brenda, I love all of these. The super Wizard of Oz one is very different in subject to your usual floral cards but is equally as lovely. I especially love the colours of he third card though with it's sparkling, brown and aqua tones.

Wonderful work B., love these cards with varied techniques, think however my favourite is the last one with the beautiful stencilled glitter, love the colour shades on the glitter. Thanks so much for popping over and your encouragement.

Pray that you are soon over the affects of the antibiotics, they are nasty and take a while to go through the system, must admit found taking acidophilus in between the antibiotic doses as recommended by my chemist made a big difference and eased a lot of the side affects I had with them, over a number of weeks.
Hugs, and very blessing, dear friend, Shaz in Oz.x

Fantastic selection of cards Brenda, that TL stepper die looks like it's a great timesaver and I do like the images. The second is so elegant looking and a great design, But I think the third is my favourite - such pretty background, lovely colours and a great sentiment. Hope you're soon on the mend xx

Brenda, what a difference of styles on each of your beautiful cards. Each one is just so pretty & unique. Love Nice Crane designs, and haven't visited there for a bit. Love the stepped card - really shows off the images so nicely. #2 is elegant with the b&w, embossing and the wonderful lace trims. And of course I'm loving the embossing and pastels on #3. Amazing that you can still create such lovely things with all the tooth problems of late. Which I hope are getting better day by day. Hang in there..and rest up when you can. Big Hugs & TFS
