Monday candy, a touch of fantasy and Calla Lilies

It's Monday again which must mean candy time and my DT pieces for Prickly Pear and Nicecrane Designs.

I really like the Calla Lily stamp from the Prickly Pear Spring releases and have used it in several different colourways, this time below in peach stamped onto a Cheery Lynn frame and a sentiment from the Easter Cross 2 set. The edges were shaded with Pan Pastels.

Using Large Calla Lily and Easter Cross 2 clear set

During the last week I have been lucky enough to play with another new release from Nicecrane, this time from the Edwardian Lady range here which takes me back many years to when it was so popular and we had some M&S bedlinen featuring the designs. For the creation at the top of mu post I combined some of the images from this sheet with one of the Fairies and also an Elf from another design sheet, sponged a sun with Pan Pastels, added some stamped wheat and leaves to the frame which I made on the scoreboard and used a arch die to cut the aperture. The toadstools and Elf have all been decoupaged and a TH branch bird and tie across the top.

The winner of last weeks paper pad candy is Dora from Wednesday's post and the House Mouse stamp is being re-homed with Debbie from her comment on Saturday's post, please both mail me with your full postal addy before Saturday 29th so I can get them in the post.

It seemed you quite liked the idea of me re-housing some of my stamps (as explained before some have been used a few times) so as well as the collection of ribbons and embellishments this week I would like to re-home this lovely Hero Arts stamp - if you are not interested in the stamp please mention in your comment.

To be in with a chance of receiving either of these this is what you need to do...................
  • Post my Monday Candy Poppy logo on your blog sidebar with a link to my blog.
  • Leave a comment on any post between now and next Monday.....comments on two posts and names go into the draw again and so on.
  • Be a follower of my blog and please no candy only followers, I do check winners blogs and any non genuine ones will be discounted.
