Dance, sing, love, live

Morning to you all and welcome to my new followers and huge apologies to both old and new that I have been a really bad blogger this last few days and not visited as I would like. I have been so busy working away at more samples for C&C TV and coupled with trying to get ahead at the office before our holidays, I'm afraid I've had little time for blogging.

But it is time to share my DT work for Stamping Sensations where we have a sketch designed by our Tracy which comes with the twist of a Summer colour option and at Penny Black and More it's all about Dies and Punches.

My Penny Black DT piece above is quite a simple make using my all time favourite Penny Black inspirational quote as the focal point of my card, Spellbinders and some lovely Graphic 45 DP's. And to embellish two lillies made using Tonic's punch and stamp Peruvian lily set.

My second share is my Stamping Sensations DT piece following Tracy's lovely sketch and she also added the option of summer colours, so it had to be poppies for me as they are in abundance everywhere around here at the moment.

The stamp is another from Penny Black coloured with Pan Pastles and the background DP's are some of the lush new Remember Me ones from Kaisercraft. A border, some ribbon, Spellbinder leaves and a poppy made from Tonic's Rose punch and stamp set...............I think it's no secret by now that I adore Ruth's wonderful Tonic products.

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend and those of you in the UK enjoying this burst of Summer weather.

I just love that first one with the sentiment so beautifully framed & the detail of those punched flowers. Your use of kraft with the second one is delightful & I do like the offset image panel & the way you used the pattern of the paper to such brilliant effect.
Take care with all the preparation you have to do.

Gorgeous cards Brenda. I love that PB text stamp and the Pervian Lilies are so realistic.
The poppy card is gorgeous too - again those flower dies are fab. (Much treat myself to one set at least soon.)
Scorching here too. I went to an open garden event in a village not too far from here yesterday. Wonderful gardens - missing having the space for lots of plants even more now.

ah B. your first card just sent me into raptures of delight!!

Wow it is fab, you are very bad for my bank.. first was Panpastels.. which thankfully had birthday coming then the escapade with the 8" x 8" folder (which so delightful in its reduced state) and then you put on the 5 x 7 Elegant Labels Four - yes did a search to see just exactly what they were as your link was invalid .. so now will take the other ones off my wish list I was thinking of and put these on I think..
here is correct link one:
http://www.spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/p-955-5-x-7-elegant-labels-four.aspx

they are sooo nice why do I have such a die and folder addition ~ I dont get it??
:D hugs and every blessing dear B. for your health, Shaz in Oz.x PS the flowers are so gorgeous on both card as it the poppy stamp too.

Hi Brenda, OMG I love your first card, but your 2nd one is to die for! Just love the image and that poppy, and I read you made it yourself, wow! I have to check out this Tonic punch you made it with! Anyhow, I was just now on the 'top floor' of my waterfall, weeding (I'm still not entirely done in the garden....) when the doorbell rang. Cursing and swearing (really, I do that sometimes LOL) I climbed down to find the postman on my doorstep with an enveloppe, and when opening it I found your lovely candy. My bad mood was gone in an instant, wooop wooop!! Love those gorgeous stamps, and will be using the leaves and flower in my art journals for sure, and that cute doggy/cat stamp is soo sweet. Not to mention all the other goodies. Thanks so much sweetie, you have made my day!! Big HUGE hug, and I hope your day is as sunny as mine! Hugs Frea
