Cherish and Dream

Good Morning to you all and thank you all for your comments on my last post regarding the forthcoming Blogger changes. I think it's one of those things where we all have our preferences how we like to follow other peoples blogs and as far as I can tell if you view through your dashboard as I do, then no need for panic.

Apologies I've not got round your blogs the last couple of days, it's been a tad busy work wise and I've not had too much chance to do any blogging, but hopefully can put that right today.

So meantime a couple of shares, again it was playtime with my Tonic Pick of the Bunch stamp and punch sets. The one at the top has a background very lightly distressed with Tea Dye and Olive and a spritz of gold Glimmer Mist. The swirl is stamped and embossed with details clear using part of a Hero Arts swirl stamp and the sentiment is a really old one from Penny Black and sadly long since discontinued. For the roses I stamped a piece of Kraft cardstock with Hero Arts Old French Writing before punching and making up the flowers.

My second card uses Spellbinders Grand Decorative Ovals, another Penny Black sentiment and flowers from the same stamp and punch set, they are not meant to be anything specific so I shall simply call them fantasy flowers, quite fitting for me. I wouls also like to enter the following:

House of Gilli - Flowers and/or Ribbons
Shabby Tearoom - Anything Goes
Really Reasonable Ribbon - Flowers and Ribbon
By the Cute and Girly - Favourite Things (Flowers)

Thanks for popping in and have a good Thursday.

Many thanks for your post about the changes as it helped a lot (my elder daughter told me about it last week and your information was extremely useful as I don't use Google Reader so am now not panicking!)

These are 2 stunners Brenda. I love the flowers on the first one....I must have a go at trying handmade flowers, it's on my every lengthening things to do list ;0) I'm never sure whether to try punched ones or the dies??
As you and I agreed the other day if you follow blogs via the "basic" follow button and read the posts in your dashboard reader then there appears to be no changes at all (thank goodness). I would hate to miss any of your posts. Happy Thursday , Jane x

I am so glad you could see where I was thinking with my card this morning as none of my family could see it at all !! (It rather worried me.) You have made my day by seeing in to it. Thankyou !!!

I particularly like that first one - the colours are delightful & the script stamping for the flowers is a super idea. The sentiment is a real beauty - pity it is discontinued. I can certainly realte to your idea of fantasy flowers in the second one.

Brenda, both of your cards are beyond lovely - I can just feel your gentle, kind spirit through the words and flowers. A peaceful softness found as one person reveals what is in their heart, thru the work of their hands, as in your cards. Both are beautiful in unique ways - pretty colors and wonderful flowers! hugs, de
