Busy packing and a bit of craft

How is everyone, enjoying this weather I hope.......we never did get any volume of the rain we were promised here in the Fens so the paddocks are still parched and the garden looks pretty sorry for itself.

The last few days have flown by, a bit of crafting, a lot of work in the office and a tiny bit of packing sums it up really. But this time next week I should be lazing in the sun, glass in hand. As I told you last week I have a surprise or two lined up for you when I am away so don't forget to keep your eyes peeled on Friday to see what's in store.

I have a card for a challenge or two, it was the perfect opportunity to colour up one of the lovely images my buddy Sarah sent me using one of the beautiful Sweet Pea images. I coloured with Copics, used Kaiser DP and created the easel card on the Cricut DS. The border is punched with Martha Stewart eyelet lace, some lace, gems and roses and the obligatory liberal helping of glitter to the fairy and flower and there you have it. A really quick and easy card thanks to Sarah.

Just gorgeous Brenda. The image is really cute and just love that cat to bits.
All your cards in the last few days are stunners - just trying to catch up after a mega craft session doing stuff for a class I taught yesterday.
Hope you have a fabulous holiday as you deserve a great time after your recent trials.

PS: Those little puppies are soooo cute!

You can have some of our rain, Brenda. It poured down here all night from about 5pm and it sounds like we're going to get more tonight. It's so warm though. The garden is thankful for it's big drink although I'm now fighting a battle with those pesky slugs!!
I love your card. What a gorgeous image. I shall have to check those out, and my favourite shape of Easel!!!
Not long 'till your hols now, you lucky thing. We have a few more weeks of waiting!!
I hope you have an absolutely brilliant time. It will be just what the doctor ordered.
Hugs Lisax

I keep looking at these stamps but resisting the temptation lol - you have to draw the line sometimes though don't you. Lovely image I'd love a cat that big to snuggle up to. Great shape and lovely colours and papers. Have a wonderful relaxing holiday. I'm off to the coast for a few days on Thursday and I'm so looking forward to seeing the sea!

Love Lynda xxx

Hi Brenda

Wow you have made a stunning card with this image which you have coloured in beautifully!

It has been chucking it down here in Lancashire all day - me and the kids were soaked to our underwear on the walk home from school!

Hope you have a wonderful holiday, you really deserve some rest and relaxation.

By the way, I have been playing with my new brayer from Sir Stampalot - not quite mastered the technique enough to show anything on my blog yet haha - although I could say the kids have done it as thats the effect I am creating at the mo.

OMG Brenda, for quick and easy this is outstanding...I just love it!!!!

All the element's work perfectly, a really stunning job....

I am pretty scared of these images, only because they are so different and wonder if I can do them justice....I did pluck up the courage this week to have a go with one, not sure how it will turn out though, I have only managed to stamp it out and ink around with TH inks so far...

Hope you have a wonderful holiday, catch up soon
